ICC-ES Approval: Issuance of report ICC-ES Report ESR-1131
Sound Footings LLC has received confirmation from ICC Evaluation Service, Inc (ICC-ES) that SQUARE FOOT® is the first and only (6/2006) plastic footing form to comply with the provisions of the EVALUATION GUIDELINE FOR PLASTIC FOOTING FORMS EG292 and SQUARE FOOT® complies with the following codes; Division 2: Site Construction; Section 02450 - Foundation and Load Bearing Elements and Division 3 - Concrete; 03130 - Permanent Forms. This confirmation, as evidenced in ICC-ES evaluation report ESR-1131, provides guidance to code officials faced with approving the use of SQUARE FOOT® under these codes. New Guideline For Footing Forms 3/2005
Sound Footings LLC in conjunction with ICC Evaluation Service, Inc (ICC-ES) established the first EVALUATION GUIDELINE FOR PLASTIC FOOTING FORM SYSTEMS EG292. This newly created guideline provides requirements for plastic footing form systems to be recognized in an ICC Evaluation Service Inc. (ICC-ES) evaluation report under the following building codes:
- 2003 International Residential Code® (IRC), International Code Council
- 2003 International Building Code® (IBC);
- BOCA® National Building Code/1999 (BNBC);
- 1999 Standard Building Code® (SBC), and
- 1997 Uniform Building Code™ (UBC).
